Project goal
The aim of the project is to improve the system for organizing clinical trials in oncology at the Medical Center using a standardized and effective research and center management process. The establishment and development of the Oncology Clinical Research Support Center is intended to increase the number of clinical trials and increase the availability of innovative therapies for oncology patients, increase the involvement of medical staff in clinical trials, improve patients' knowledge about clinical trials, scientific development and better use of infrastructure and resources.
The most important effect of the OCWBK project will be the improvement of the health situation of residents both in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and outside the voivodeship. The currently observed increase in the number of experimental therapies is radically changing the prognosis of patients with oncological diseases. New therapies often lead to long-term remissions of the disease or even complete cure. Obtaining more clinical trials in which these therapies are available is crucial to increasing the percentage of people cured of potentially fatal diseases, such as: cancers.

According to the scope of the competition, the project includes the implementation of the following tasks:
The involvement of OnkoCWBK staff,
Adaptation, modernization and equipment of OnkoCWBK,
Purchase of quality systems and other support systems,
OnkoCWBK staff training.
